We would like to commend you on your work with the Revised General Plan. V~Ie support the Revised General Plan as written except for the three (3) following revisions. ~'e also support the "KOHALA CO~TUNITY PETITION" designating the Kohala Coastline Conservation and Open on the L.U.P.~q.G. Map as well as drivable access. Support for an open coastline in North Kohala is not a new issue and it is very satisfying to see that Senate Concurrent Resolution No. I46 has received mention in the new revised General Plan wider Land use-A~-'cul ~ -Ng~l~ hale The history and support in North Kohala leading up to S.C.R. NO. 146 started back in 1972 with a study called "North Kohala, Preservation of Historical Resources' by DLIv'R. Enclosed is a time table of this history.
