Re: Proposed Ordinance Relating to Condominium 6?raperty Regimes -request to Speak at
the April 5, 2002 Hawaii County Planning Commission
We are in receipt of your fax of April 2, 2002 requesting the presence of myself or a
representative from the Real 1=state Commission to speak on the pros and cons of the proposed
ordinance at the above scheduled meeting- The Commission is more than willing to assist with providing
comments and information on the subject matter of the proposed ordinance. I°lowever, due to the
lateness of the request, the impracticality of processing the necessary departmental approvals including
permission to travel, priorities imposed an this office by the current legislative session, and the prior
commitments of the Chair of the Commission's Condominium Review Committee, we cannot honor the
request at this time_ However, we thank you for the opportunity to provide information to the Hawaii
County Planning Commission-
The Commission is willing to appear at another time that would be mutually convenient for all
parties_ However, we respectfully request prior notice of at least ten working days of any request to
speak_
Please be advised that the referred to proposed ordinance has been placed on the Commission's
Condominium FZeview Committee meeting agenda for April 9, 2002 scheduled for 11:00 a.rn. A copy of
the agenda is enclosed.
