Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation of a concrete slab and a portable tent
shelter that will be used to serve the Hilo Bayfront soccer fields. This donation is being
made by the Hilo Rotary Club Foundation, c/o P.O. Box 6845, Hilo, Hawaii 96720 and
the American Youth Soccer Organization Region 274, c/o 100 Pauahi Street, Suite 206,
Hilo, Hawaii 96720 and has a total estimated value of $24,350.

A. REQUEST:
Acceptance of construction of concrete slab (valued at $18,650) and portable tent shelter (valued at $5,700)
to serve the Hilo Bayfront soccer fields. The improvements will be funded by the Hilo Rotary Club
Foundation and the American Youth Soccer Organization Region 274.
The facility will be located fronting Kumu Street, directly opposite the soccer field restrooms.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED
The tent shelter will be used for soccer-related activities requiring protection from the weather, e.g. team
gathering, concessions, etc.
