WFIEREAS, The Four Seasons Resort at Hualalai has donated five (5) computer systems to the
Hawaii County Fire Department; and
WFIEREAS, the donor stipulates that the computer equipment, with a total estimated value of $5,000,
be assigned to the fire stations in West Hawaii; and
WHERimAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and
WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Fire Department recommends the acceptance of this donation.
NOW, TI~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 13Y TI-fle COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF ~lAWAI`I that in
accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of Hawaii
accepts this donation.
SIA IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Mr. Richard Albrecht, Senior Vice
President of Development, Hualalai Resort, F.O. Sox 1269, Kailua-Kona, 96745 with a courtesy copy sent to
Ms. Kathleen Horrigan, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort at Hualalai, P.O. Box 1269, Kailua-Kona,
Hawaii 96745, acknowledging this generous donation.
