Hawaii County Council members:
I wish to submit testimony in favor of supporting the proposed CPR ordinance. `I`he
CFR process was created in lieu of the "®hana Zoning" but has been misused.
Subdividing large Ag 20 lots into CPR's without any um size lots and the
necessary irdrastructure contributes to increased density aid "spra`~rl" on I-Iawaii
Island. I request that you pass this ordinance at the next reading on September 11,
2002, so that we will be in compliance with the State law, Act 251 requirements.
~JVe already have enough substandard subdivisions on this island. I know, I live in
one that was poorly "planned" 40 years ago.
