Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 253. reports as follows:
Bill No. 253. transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 710,
dated August 1, 2002, amends Ordinance No. 02-77, as amended, the Capital Budget. ending
June 30, 2003, by adding the following project:
PARKS & RECREATION:
Kawailani Street Bridge Replacement Project -Federal 1 10-399-5391.89 $5.000.000
Kawailani Street Bridge Replacement Project -State 1 10-399-5391.90 $1,000.000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
Federal Grants Receivable $5,000,000
State Grants Receivable $1,000,000
Funds will be used for construction of the Kawailani Street Bridge Replacement project. Work
will include replacing the hydraulically inadequate bridge including upstream and downstream
channel improvements.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 253 and
recommends it pass first reading.
