91VIiEF~EAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation
requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be
approved by resolution; and
99A61fiE€tEAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into amulti-year lease agreement for five (5) years for
one (1) copy machine for the Department of Public Works Administration Office; and
9019F°IEI~EAS, their current copy machine is over nine (9) years old and requires frequent service calls; and
9l0916°IE~tEAS, the acquisition of this machine will reduce downtime and thereby improving productivity and
efficiency of the staff.

1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease agreement for the
acquisition of a copy machine for the Department of Public Works Administration Office.
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated
obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement.
