Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year
for the multi-year maintenance agreement for the automated booking system at the Hilo
and Kona Police stations.

A. REQUEST:
To enter into an multi-year agreement with Sagem Morpho, Inc. to provide maintenance for the automated
booking system at the Hilo and Kona Police Stations for a period of four (~4) years.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Hawaii Criminal Justice Data Center is providing Hawaii County with the equipment necessary for the automated
booking system at the Hilo and Kona Police station. The equipment has been turned over the County and
must absorb tl3e cost of the maintenance. The vendor providing the equipment Sagem Morpho is providing
maintenance for four (4) years.
