Waived: PWIRC STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEMS LISTED ON THE ORDER OF BUSINESS ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS Res. 230-02: Authorizes the acceptance of a concrete slab and a portable tent shelter to serve the Hilo Bayfront Soccer fields. {Estimated value of $24,350; from the Hilo Rotary Club Foundation and the American Youth Soccer Organization Region 274. } Re: Comm. 716 Intr. by: Mr. Chung Approved: FC-259 Res. 231-02: Authorizes the Office of the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, pursuant to HRS 46-7, for a Rebuild America Grant. {This grant is provided to fund an Energy Smart School (ESS) at a Big [stand school in which students will receive instruction on energy production and use, lighting and renewable energy technologies.} Re: Comm. 717 Intr. by: Mr. Chung Approved: FC-260 Res. 232-02: Authorizes the acceptance of a donation of five (5) computer systems to the Hawaii County Fire Department. {The donation is being made by the Four Seasons Resort at Hualalai with an estimated value of $5,000. Res. 237-02: Resolution of Determination to proceed to create and define a water system improvement district for the Kona Coastview and Kona Wonderview Subdivisions. {Subsequent to a public hearing held on August 2, 2002, this resolution represents the next step in the Council's establishment of an improvement district as specified in Chapter 12, I-lawai`i County Code.
