plant (trash incinerator) in Pepeelceo by ~3re~ver >?nvironnaental Industries.
sdVe believe that, ~vb~tever alterative is chosen by the County Council to replace the e~istia~g la~xdfill, it
should be located where most of the trash located (flilo~F'ur~ area). Tl~c unnecessy tck,g of 250
tons of?.rash per day aloes, the I-Iilo ~ayfrorat and the I~akua I-Iighvvay mould create a ~~elcss nuisance
of noise, odor, a exl'~.ust pollution for the Kilo and Ilasnal~naa comYnunities, and a vote of t~ dollars.
Residents have additional enviro~nental and economic concerns regardiaag the technology.
