AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, TO ESTABLISH PARKING ZONES AT THE AUPUNI CENTER. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 7, section 24-292. Schedule 40 (8 hour parking meter zones) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 Edition), is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: ) The following areas are designated as maximum eight hour parking at the rate of twenty five cents per two-hours: ~a) South Hilo { 1) Aupuni Center parking lot, specificallymarked single row of stalls fronting Kilauea Avenue, Monday to Friday excluding holida ~s during the hours of 7.00 a m to 5.00 p m or as otherwise specified per facility." SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-284. Schedule 32 (Two hour parking areas), subsection (c) South Hilo of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 Edition) is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: ) Aupuni Center public parking two rows of stalls along and adjacent to the northwest (Pauahi Street) and a single row of stalls along and adjacent to the southwest (Kilauea Avenue) sides of the Aupuni Center building, Monday to Friday excluding holida s during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or as otherwise specified per facility" SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
