Resolution No. 232-02, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaha. via Co?n?nunication
No. 718. dated August 9. 2002, authoei~es the acceptance of a donation from the Four Seasons
Resort at ~-Iualalai.
The Four Seasons Resort at I lualalai has graciously donated five computer s~~stems to the
Hawaii County Fire Department for use at the West Hawaii Dire Stations. The value of this
donation is estimated at $5,000.00.
Pursuant to Article XIII. Section 1 ~-12. Hawaii County Charter. the Council, on behalf of the
County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property.
A letter of appreciation will he sent to Mr. Richard Albrecht Senior Vice President of
Development, Hualalai Resort, P.O. E3ox 1269, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 9675 ~~~ith a courtesy
copy sent to Ms. Kathleen Horrigan, General Manager. lour Seasons Resort at Hualalai. P.O.
Box 1269, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 9674.5, acknowledging this generous donation.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. ? ,2-02
and recommends its adoption.
