Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. William S. Taylor of Council District 7 to the
County of Hawaii Pension Board. Mr. Taylor is a 22-year resident of Hawaii and
is currently retired. In addition to the local community service organizations listed
on his application, the following are his other Hawaii community affiliations - West
Hawaii Committee, Christ Church, West Hawaii Independent Insurance Agents,
Kai Opua Canoe Club, Keauhou Punahele Board, Keauhou Master Homeowners
Association, and B.P.O. Elks. Mr. Taylor states that he is not affiliated with any
political party. If confirmed, Mr. Taylor will serve a term to expire on
December 31, 2006.
