HAWAII PF_,NSION BOARD
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated October 8, 2002, submittin~~ i~rr confirmation the
nomination of Mr. William S. Taylor of Council District 7 to the County of Hawaii
Pension Board. A 22-year resident of Hawaii, Mr. Taylor is currently retired. Not
affiliated with any political party, if confirmed, he will serve a term to expire on
December 31, 2006.

transmitting a report of reallocation actions taken on the positions covered by civil
service classification and pay laws for the first quarter of the 2002-2003 fiscal year.
Comm. 764: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 02-76, AS AMENDED, THE
(Bill 266) OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF 1~IAWAI`I FUR THF_. FISCAL
YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2003 (by appropriating an additional 567,000 into the
Department of'Environmental Management's Glass Recycling Program account)
From Finance Director William Takaba, dated September 26, 2002, transmitting the
above bill. The State of Hawaii Department of Health has increased the total
amount of compensation to be 5283,000 to continue the glass recovery program.

Comm. 765: AN ORDINANCF. TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 02-76, AS AMENDED, THE
(Bill 267) OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2003 (by appropriating an additional $30,000 into the
Department of Environmental Management's Used Oil Rec clingy Program account)
From Finance Director William Takaba, dated September 26, 2002, transmitting the
above bill. The State of Hawaii Department of Health has increased the total
amount of compensation to be $55,000 to continue the used oil collection program.

(Res. 251-02) GRANTS OF EASEMENTS IN FAVOR OF NIU PIA FARMS, LTD. (tor a
retaining wall easement over Government Road in Kaloko Light Industrial
Subdivision, Unit 1, Kaloko, North Kona, Hawaii; TMK: (3 7) 3_51)
From Finance Director William Takaba, dated October 2, 2002, transmitting the
above resolution. An independent appraiser has determined that the fair market value
of the retaining wal I easement with an area of 178 square feet is S 1,425. Attached to
the resolution are Exhibits "A" through "D", relating to the easement.
