RE: Miring of Special Counsel for Workers Compensation Division
The Office of the Corporation Counsel respectfully requests the Council place the
above-encaptioned matter on the next available Council agenda for attorney-
client discussion in executive (closed) session.
This request is made pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4), Hawaii Revised Statutes,
as amended, and is made for the reason we anticipate discussion on questions
and issues pertaining to the Council and County's powers, duties, privileges,
immunities, and liabilities. Specifically, we anticipate discussing the proposed
hourly rate of pay for special counsel.
