Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 261, reports as follows:
Bill No. 261, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 7~4,
dated September 19, 2002, amends Ordinance No. 02-76, as amended, the Operating Budget,
ending June 30, 2003. The amendment is as follows:

3301.04 Federal Grants -Area Plan on Aging General $137,738
To:
010-411-5411.10 Area Plan on Aging OCE General $1 37,738
These additional funds will be used for the Title III Aging Programs.
Pursuant to Section 46-7. Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b), Hawaii County
Charter, the Mayor is already authorized to apply for. receive and expend the funds for this
program identified in the Operating Budget.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 261 and
recommends it pass first reading.
