dated September 25, 2002, amends Ordinance No. UZ-77, as amended. the Capital Budget.

Funds for this project shall be provided from general obligation bonds. capital pr~~jects. fund-
fund balance and/or other sources.
Funds will be used to improve and provide a sate .9 mile segment of A1i'i Drive that will connect
the Kahului to Keauhou Parkway ti-om the north and the Mamalahoa Bypass to the south. The
improvements are needed to accommodate the two new roads, which will be transformed into a
major arterial highway.
Some members of Your Committee were concerned that there is no CIP priority list.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 263 and
recommends it pass first reading.
