Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to renominate the following individuals to the County of Hawaii
Fire Commission.
• Ms. Karen T. Maedo of Council District 3 is a lifelong resident of Hawaii.
She states that she is not a member of any political party.
• Mr. Neil Brazier of Council District 5 is a 34-year resident of Hawaii. He
states that he is not affiliated with any political party.
Both of these individuals have demonstrated integrity, diligence, and competence
during their service on this commission. If confirmed, they will serve a term to
expire on December 31, 2007.
