When Councilman Domanic Yugong and I first discussed the direction and o'hjectives of this committee last year I was working on our family farm and I had the time to devote to this important and essential part of the county government. In April of this year I accepted a job in Waimea and while-the Executive Director has been very accommodating in allowing me the time to work around both commitments, I have found myself having the additional responsibility of assisting my father in his living arrangements since he is no longer able to live at his home. I will be leaving for California by the end of this week to lend a hand in meeting with is attorney and finding a permanent nursing facility for him. In view of the new situation I find myself in, I feel it is better to resign from the Arborist Committee at this time. I wish to sincerely thank you for appointing me to this prestigious committee and wish this board a good deal of success in the months ahead. With sincere aloha ~ ~ Sue Loewenhardt
