dated October 25. 2002, amends Ordinance No. 02-76, as amended. the Operating Budget,
ending .tune 30. 2003. The amendment is as follows:

These additional funds will be used to continue the used oil collection program as the State of
Hawaii, Department of Health has increased the total amount of compensation.
Pursuant to Section 46-7. Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b). Hawaii County
Charter, the Mayor is already authorized to apply for. receive and expend the funds for this
program identified in the Operating Budget.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 279 and
recommends it pass first reading.
