Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 282, reports as follows:
Bill No. 282, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 812,
dated November 4, 2002, amends Ordinance No. 02-76, as amended, the Operating Budget,
ending June 30, 2003. The amendment is as follows:

TOTAL $140,000
These additional funds will be used for Miscellaneous Contractual Services (Air Conditioning
Duct Cleaning), a motor vehicle and computer equipment and software for the Department of
Public Works, Building Division.
Some members of Your Committee suggested that the county should look into purchasing a used
car.
For informational purposes, Mr. Tyler voted kanalua twice.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 282 and
recommends it pass first reading.
