This is in addition to my testimony sent earlier this week regard ids°i~ssue:;

A similar resolution to this one was brought up in 1996 for which I attended a hearing held in
Kona. It would have allowed 10-acre divisions in the land in Kaloko Mauka. At the time it was titled
against becausee of conflicting state CPR rules which would render the legislation meaningless and
maybe even at odds to protection of the land. Nothing has changed with CPR rules since then to
my knowledge. The problem is that, by allowing automatic 10-acre sub-division approval, you have
then changed all of Kalokds Wrote protected 20-acre status to smaller parcels. What is the benefit
of this action?
Please do not alZprove this resolution. Hopefully a new, more workable one can be fashioned
which will effectively protect our precious native forest.
