Dom: c~ As a major grower/shipper of flowers we feel that one of the a best ways to increase agricultural exports out of tie State is through a centralised disenfestation facility. Agriculture is the mainstay of East Hawaii and no single entity will replace the vast amounts of ecerage formally occupied by sugar cane. Nonetheless, there exists a tremendous potential to take diversified agriculture into the nest millennium because of new crops and new markets. Hilo is Fortunate to have most of the infrastructure already in place. Farmers only need the opportunity to export what we already know we can produce with a reputation for quality. Your support for the irradiator is an important step in maintaining our lifestgle and offers a future for our families and community. Please vote YES on April 24th.
