This is an update to the Byme award letter dated August 1, 2001. We received BJA approval of all
new Program Abstracts for the FY 2001 Edward Byme Memorial State and Local Law Enforcement
Assistance Formula Grant Program. This includes the following project:
Project Title: Violent Crime Unit (Homicides)
Amount: $102,000 Federal

$136,000 Total

As mentioned in the previous letter, your agency is responsible for providing the 25% match. If the
project is unable to provide all of the required match funds, please have the project director call [he assigned
specialist.
