Dear Chairman Elarionoff:
Re: Resolution 9-03 -Resolution Authorizing the Acceptance of a Donation
of Real Property From Kaiwiki Properties. LLC. and RS Williams LLC
Due to a previous engagement, I will not be able to attend the December 17,
2002 meeting of the Committee on Public Works & Intergovernmental Relations, in
support of Resolution 9-03, a resolution authorizing the acceptance of a donation of real
property from Kaiwiki Properties, LLC and RS Williams, LLC, Tax Map Key
No. (3)2-8-015:002 (portion), Lot 1, Honomu Transfer Station Access Road.
I ask that this matter be approved out of committee. I am willing to appear before
the Council to answer any questions that may arise in this case. The resolution
authorizes acceptance of a donation of land from Kaiwiki Properties, LLC and
RS Williams, LLC, who are the owners of Tax Map Key:(3)2-8-015:002. The
right-of-way which is being donated to the County of Hawaii currently serves as the
Honomu Transfer Station Access Road. Mr. Williams and Mr. Tolmie have graciously
agreed to transfer ownership of that roadway to the County of Hawaii. The right-of-way
has an estimated value of $3,427.73. I ask for your committee's favorable consideration
and passage of this resolution.
