AGENDA
This is an informational briefing relating to the recent Supreme Court decision in Konno
v County of Hawaii. The briefing will tliscuss the potential far reaching impacts and
ramifications of the Court's opinion concerning, among other things, the government's
ability to provide certain public services and to enter Into contracts under chapters 42D
and 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and the necessity, nature, and extent of any
legislative response.
