confirmation the tbllowing appointment for Director of Public Works:
Bruce C. McClure who has been employed by the Department of
Water Supply of the County of llawai'i ti~om 1998 to the present; and
has served as the Deputy Chief Engineer for the County of I lawai'i
from 1984 to 1990; and from 1990 to 1993 was the County's Chief
Engineer. Ile has also worked for the State Department of
Transportation.
If confirmed. Mr. McClure will serve a term co-terminous with
Mayor Kim, ending on December 6. 2004. I Iis resume is attached.

will traverse. A bypass highway has been planned and is being de~cloped to
