HomeMy WebLinkAboutCOM 0090.000 2002-2004 To The Members of The Hawaii County Council: Nov. 25, 2002 Gentleman and Ladies: We now have thousands of visitors coming by ship to visit us here on the Big Island and are being given tows to various sites to see and enjoy. Many request information about living here. Would you suggest that they be taken on tours to the Commercial Game Cock Production facilities in ow Hawaiian Paradise Park residential areas, so that they might enjoy the cacophony of the roosters and yes the odors of their swroundings? Those of us who already live here do this daily and some will gladly sell them a nice home to live in. What do you gentleman and ladies think of this as a way to greet these world travelers? - Sincerely Clarence H. Carroll Hcr 2 Box 6402 Keaau, Hi. 96749-9305 NOTE: Today another couple left us here in HPP. The good doctor and his wife sold their home because the county council refuses to stop this interference by the 100's of Game Cocks that are grown here for slaughter. They were swrounded by about 200 of them on both sides of their property, allowed to come in after they bought their home. Rep. Say maintains that the council can correct this problem! Comm.
