Please take note of Section 25-5-122, item "e", under the Hawaii County
Code, which states: (e) Buildings and uses normally considered
accessory to the uses permitted in this section shall also be permitted in
the CV district.
I i~w look up the word "PRECEDENT". Webster defines it
as: "Case that may serve as an example or reason for a later case."
Now here is a man born and raised in Volcano Village, who has the
ambiance and aesthetics of Volcano Village at heart. I ask you to please
compare the photographs provided to you earlier. As you can see, unlike
I-IPM where everything is seen from the road, Mr. Thomas's will all be
housed within his warehouse, unseen from the road. The only thing RFeeivtG

Due to the established "PRECEDENT" being already set by HPM's cou"ui
approval in Waimea Village, please
explain why Mr. Thomas is having such a difficult time obtaining his
needed and desired zoning change to improve services for Volcano Village,
~s the services available for the residents of Waimea Village have been
.j,'~ proved by the zoning change applied for and received by HPM.
