SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT - RE: THE PLACEMENT AND
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES ON PRIVATE
STREETS--BILL NO. 68,D.2
Staff has reviewed the above proposed traffic code amendment
and brief.
We support Bill No. 68,D.2, to authorize and require owners of
private streets to place and maintain official traffic control
devices, signs, signals, and markings on private streets which
will be beneficial to the community. The amendment will
clarify the law and furthers the promotion of public safety.
