Dear Chairman Arakaki and other County Council Members:
I azn opposed to the ~otung request by Maurice Thomas that would allow him to
construct large lumber warehouses and rental equipment facilities on his parcel in downtown
Volcano. 'Ibis is not an appropriate age of Village Commetda! and should be situated in a
nearby location more appropriate for industrial type usage.
My husband and I have lived in Volcano for over 20 years and have volunteered in
activities to keep Volcano attractive, comfortable and economically viable. I feel a
warehq~se facility in downtown Volcano will destroy that ambiance and negatively impact
eco~op~m which is the economic mainstay of the arcs.
