RE: Amendment to City of Hilo Zone Map -Deletion of portion of the proposed
saddle road 120-foot right-of-way between Kaumana estates and
Kaumana City subdivision, South Hilo
Dear Mr. Arakaki;
I am one of the joint owners of a parcel identified by tax map key 2-5-55: 42, a
parcel currently affected by the existing right-of--way alignment along Kaumana Drive. I
am writing to you to express my support for the amendment to delete that portion of the
alignment. The right-of-way negatively impacts our intention to sell the parcel at its
current or higher valuation.
The relocation of the proposed alignment will also remove development
restrictions on other existing residential homes.
