As required by Resolution No. 46-01, reports indicating the number of plants eradicated and the number of complaints received from the public, the type of complaint and the complaint disposition are attached. Caller said that he lives neat door to a big marijuana grower and wants officers to pull all of the marijuana plants around his property. Helicopters circled his residence 10 times. Caller also reported rappellers being inserted less than 500 feet from a residence. Officer CORREIA said that two plots contained 451 marijuana plants in one plot and another 1,874 in the other plot. Time in Area: 30 minutes No. of Plants Recovered: 2,325 plants seed-4' Immediate Action Taken: Upon receiving the complaint, complainant informed officer that the helicopter was leaving the area. Comments: Recontacted the caller, who said that he was going to go to the Council meeting tomorrow to complain about the helicopters. Caller said that the government is terrorizing the people and scaring goats. Caller said they had left shortly after he called. Call Received By: Officer Gregorio ANTOLIN Complainant Recontacted By: Detective Harley HEE Date/Time: 12-19-2002/1610 hours Reason for Being in Area: MJ plants were spotted approx 1/4 mile away from houses in area. 200 MJ plants (1' to 3' tall) were recovered in area. Helicopter was in area for approx 20 min. while the MJ plants were being pulled. Time in Area: 20 minutes No. of Plants Recovered: 212 plants Immediate Action Taken: Complainant was contacted and informed that marijuana plants were being pulled from that area. Comments: Complainant could not see the helicopter with Officers rapelling down to the marijuana patches, and was satisfied why the helicopter was there. Submitted By: Det.
