Dear Ms. I.eitkrhead-Todd:
I strongly oppose the "Walter & Susert Welton Project". I oat a homeowner, a Real
Property Tax payer and i reside on Nani Kaitua Drive.
The receat inctxa.+e in traffic is conatrnt with heavy equiptttent, lazge flatbeds loaded
with tons of construction material, cement trucks and outside traffic which includes
canstniction workers speeding up and down the street.
Our children wait at the roadside for the bus to be picked up or dropped off and drivers
no longer pay attention to them. This is a serioss safety issse.
From the continuous construction within the parameters of the subdivision, there is
constant noise pollution, dust, the hcakh and safely of aU Isdtviduab b in
jeoptidy!!1
People developing these ttsidentlal areas au simply looking for profit and a way to fill
their pockets at the expanse of others. Poor planning or No planning go into the
development, seeking the cheapest way out which i~ludes the use of existing through
fares without the platating or improvement of proper inl3rashueture.
As a tax payer, a resident oo Nani Kailua Drive, I am adaasantly opposed to the use of
Nani Ii.silua Drive as the primary access for the development of the "Wahet & Susan
Welton Project"! I atrongRy recommend a moratoHttet asd issbt the developer be
responsible for ealurisp devices along Nani Kailas lh~ive. Spoedbumpa on Royal
Poincieaa certainly ]tas made a difference! UnfotnmaQely, our efforts for a roundabout
have since been discarded.
More pMenisE b seeded for an improved or altersetlvs route to ease the existing
traffic.
