I am writing in opposition of the proposed development to be accessed through Kailua
View Estates on Nani Kailua Drive. As owners of a home on the corner of Nani Kailua
Drive and Welo Street, the addition traffic derived from the proposed 17 residential lots
is unacceptable. It is common lmowledge that there already exists a major traffic
problem on these two roads: speeding, failure to observe stop signs and school
crosswalks. Our feaz is that the additional traffic load will only exacerbate the current
danger. In addition to the important safety reasons listed above, we also would not enjoy
the noise from the additional traffic, nor aze we not convinced that the addition traffic
wouldn't have a negative influence on our property value.
We urge you to identify with our situation and our concerns for the safety of our
neighborhood.
