SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT
KAHOA STRF,ET IN HONOLII
PROPOSED Y[ELD LOCATION AT BRIDGE NO. 26-5
The Department of Public Works, Engineering Division request that a Yield sign be installed
along Kahoa Street at Bridge No. 26-5 because the roadway width at this location is not quite
wide enough to accept two-way traffic across the bridge. Width of the roadway at the bridge is
approximately 16'.
Traffic Division and Engineering Division investigated this request and conclude the southeast
bound motorists should stop and yield to oncoming traffic because of better sight distance of
approaching vehicles.
We ask for your review and consideration for adoption of the subject amendment. Should you
