Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to inform you that I have appointed the following individuals to
the Hawaii County Committee on Aging.
Council District 7 -Judith M. Bell is a 12-year resident of Hawaii and presently
serves as the front office coordinator for Frank H. Sayre, DDS. She is also the
treasurer for the Hawaii Community Caregivers Network, and a member of the
North Kona CVC. Ms. Bell has served as a volunteer for the Ironman and Sage
Plus and Sage Watch. She states that she is not affiliated with any political
party.
Council District 9 -Geraldine M. Tenn is a 53-year resident of Hawaii and is a
registered nurse at the North Hawaii Community Hospital. Ms. Tenn is currently
a trustee for the First Baptist Church of Waimea and has served as secretary for
the Kona Coast Kennel Club. She presently is involved with a group of citizens
to establish anon-profit independent living center for seniors in Waimea.
Ms. Tenn states that she is not affiliated with any political party.
Both individuals will serve terms co-terminus with mine.
