Dear Chairman Arakaki:
Re: Kaiwiki Road
Enclosed please find a resolution authorizing the abandonment and transfer of
unused County rights-of-way for Kaiwiki Road to Christian Sieber and the Victorino
sisters for the property upon which Kaiwiki Road currently exists. The transfers will be
done by exchange with the difference to be paid to the County in cash. Mr. Sieber and
the Victorinos will settle the rest of the transaction among themselves.
As you will see on the map, the alignment that is being acquired, in addition to
being the current alignment of the road, is also much safer and straighter. We ask for
the Council's favorable consideration in this matter.
