Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to inform you that I have appointed Ms. Carol Hendricks to the
County of Hawaii Arborist Committee.
Ms. Hendricks of Council District 9, is a 38-year resident of Hawaii. She is a
realtor who is very active in community affairs. She presently serves on the
Board of Directors for the Parker School and as an advisor to the Waimea
Outdoor Circle. Ms. Hendricks has served as president of the state as well as
the Waimea Outdoor Circles. She has also served on the County of Hawaii
Committee on the Status of Women. Ms. Hendricks states that she is not
affiliated with any political party, and will serve a term co-terminus with my own.
