RB: BILL 265 (Draft'3) -Scenic Corridor Overlay Zones
Doan Chairman Arakaki and members of the County Council:
Mahuna O Puna testified in support of the first draft of Bill. 265. We have just
reviewed the changes proposed in Dtaft 3, and notice that most of them thll under basic
"housekeeping", i.e. modest changes to increase clarification, eliminate ambiguities and
correct grammar. The exception is the deletion of `The permitted uses defined by the
underlyiag zoning classification will remain in place" (Section 25-6-60, 2sd paragraph).
We approve of this change.
Therefore, we wish to support the Sconic Corridor legistation proposed in Draft 3,
coming up fix First Reading on March 19s'.
