COUNTY OF HAWAII VETERANS ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated March 20, 2003, submitting for confirmation the
following nominations to the County of I{awai`i Veterans Advisory Committee.
Both nominees were recommended by their respective veterans' organi~~ations.
61s. Penny M. Fox is a six-year resident oP Hawai'i and serves as the
local commander for the Hawai"i Island Women Veterans Association
(HIWVA). She also serves as secretary fbr the Disabled American
Veterans and serves with the American Legion. Not affiliated with any
political party, if confirmed. she will serve a term to expire on
December 31, 2007.
Mr. Roy T. Hinokuwcr, representing the Disabled American Veterans
(DAV) is being nominated to a second term. He has shown integrity
and diligence in representing the (DAV). If confirmed, he will serve a
term to expire on December 31, ?007.

made the following appointments to the Hawaii County Committee on Aging, both
to serve tears co-terminus to his:
rL1s..Ivdr/h tL1. Bell of Couneil District 7 is a 13-vcar resident of llawai'i and
presently serves as the front office coordinator for Frank H. Sayre. DDS.
Ms. Bell states she is not aftliated with any political party.
M.c. Geraldine fi. Tenn of Council District 9 is a 53-year resident of I lawai`i
and is a registered nurse at the North llawai`i Community Hospital.
Ms. 'Fenn states she is not affiliated with any political party.
