Home My WebLink AboutRES 062 Draft 01 2002-2004 COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 62 03 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF SIX (6) DELL COMPUTERS FROM THE STATE OF HAWAII, DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES, EAST HAWAII UNIT TO THE OFFICE OF THE CORPORATION COUNSEL WHEREAS, THE STATE OF HAWAII, DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES, EAST HAWAII UNIT has offered to donate six (6) Dell computers to the Office of the Corporation Counsel, County of Hawaii; and WHEREAS, each Dell computer is complete with keyboard, mouse, colored monitor and central processing unit; and WHEREAS, the value of this donation is ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,800.00); and WHEREAS, acceptance of these Dell computers will increase the response time, increase productivity and improve staff morale; and WHEREAS, these Dell units have been examined by the Department of Data Systems and have been rated as "excellent" and compatible with the existing network system. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii is authorized to accept the donation of six (6) Dell computers from the State of Hawaii, Department of Human Services, East Hawaii Unit. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to the State of Hawaii, Department of Human Services, East Hawaii Unit acknowledging their generous donation. The County Clerk shall forward copies of this resolution to the State of Hawaii, Department of Human ServicQs, Bast Hawaii Unit and the Office of the Corporation Counsel.
