Subj: Anti-War Resoultion
Councihnan Jacobson wants his colleagues to take a stand and make aanti-war resouution. He states that a number
of people in his district feels that we should not have gone to war without lJN authority . Who are these people in
his districtT I don't recall any meetings or get togethers to discuss this to see if a majority of the people in our
district agrees with this. I in fact think that a majority of the people do not want to make this resolution. 1 have
not met one.
His statement that he wants to support the troops probably has some air holes in it. What he really wants to do
is damage the President.
1 feel that if you support this resolution that it will be devisive in the community.
A resoultion should be made that we support the President and the military.
The war has started, Americans are dying. Lets show them our total support and maybe save lifes by our support
thereby causing the war to end sooner. Anti-War Resolutions only emboldens the Iraq's. Is this whet Councilman
Jacobson wants as do others in our country?
