SUBJECT: SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET REQUEST
Attached are our supplemental requests that were submitted to the Budget office for fiscal year
2003-2004.
Our first priority, New Case Tracking System, is the only item included in the Mayor's budget.
We would appreciate your review of our other requests and ask that you consider funding, at minimum,
the clerk II (#5), victim counselor II (#4) and investigator III (#3) positions. These positions are vital to
our keeping up with increased volumes of work, particularly with additional police positions being
approved. In addition, we will need at least 25 RMS licenses at $800 each (#9). Without any RMS
licenses we will not be able to access the new Police system and benefit from the new technology.
