Dear Council Members,
Please consider this a-mail as a statement of support for Bob Jacobson's request that
the Council add its name to the growing number of cities and several legislatures
across the county who wish to declare their opposition to the continuing and
potentially exponentially expanding war(s) iut the Middle Bast and elsewhere.
I support this resolution No. 56-03 for ail the clear and cogent reasons stated in the
body of the resolution itself that indicate the potential multiple and ripple effects on
Hawaii citizens, on the economy, on social services, on possible increases in terror
acts, and on peace-malting processes revered here in Hawaii as the best models for
conflict resolution.
Mahalo nui loa for considering these arising and eventual effects of continuing to
support such a world policy of power and waz over peaceful and restrained
management of highly volatile situations around the globe.
