SUPPORT FOR RESOLUTION 83-03
TO BARRICADE STUBBED OUT ROADS AT LAKO AND IUNAU STREETS
Residents of the Kona vistas subdivision have experienced numerous on-going problems at the
intersection of Lako antl Kinau Streets: drug dealing, littering, loud parries, defacement or
romoval of county road signs, loitering, public urination, and graffiti.
We support Hawaii County Council Resolution 53-03 to barricade the stubbed out sections of
road at the intersection of l~ko and Kinau Streets. These barricades would improve the safety,
welfare, and appearance of our neighborhood by preventing non-area residents from
conveniently parking and continuing to commit the above ottansms.
The undersigned are Kona Vistas residents in the immediate area of the affected intersection:
