Hisaka, Stone & Goto, representing Defendant Wayne G. Carvalho
Pursuant to the Hawaii County Charter, Section 5-2.5 (1991), 1 respectfully request that the matter
of approving the First Amended Agreement for Special Counsel, for the law firm of Hisaka,
Stone & Goto, who represent Chief Wayne G. Carvalho, in the above entitled case be placed on
the agenda for the Council's review and approval at the earliest possible convenience.
An Executive Session is requested because Defendant Carvalho's trial strategy, the merits of the
defense and evidence will be discussed.
