RE: Resolution Appropriating/Transferring Funds
Overtime
For your review and favorable consideration is a resolution appropriating/transferring $2,500
from the Clerk-Council's Regular Salaries & Wages account to the Oceriime Salaries & Wages
account.
I~he personnel changes and vacancies (present and future) in the Council and Committee
Services sections have created a situation where more overtime is required to complete tasks and
meet mandatory deadlines.

RE: Resolution Teo. 76-03 _ _ transmitting a resolution appropriating/transferring
52,500 from the Clerk-Council Regular Salaries & Wages account to the
Overtime Salaries & Wages account.
Pursuant to Section ((g) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be
waived from the Committee on Finance to the full Council for immediate action. In reviewing
this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is theretbre advantageous that approval is granted and
the matter placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request is
denied, for whatever reason, 1 understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on
Finance for placement on it, future agenda.
