Hilo, Hawaii 96720 ~i@.------/f~l-l-q-Z-_""""'""' Cpyn~y Council Regarding Communication 1072 on Bill 240 Dear Councilman Yarong: I would like to request that you again consider Bi1124Q deferred in Augi~st 1996. At the request of your committee, the Association conducted a survey of all lot owners. The question asked was: Are yon in favor of a 25 mph enforceable speed limit for Fern Acres? The final vote was 421, Ycs, and 105, No. Considering this overwhelming response for the 25 mph speed limit, a favorable referral to the full Council would seem in order. Please consider this Bill at your earliest opportunity. If your committee requires additional information, please contact the Fern Acres Community Association office at 968-6006 or myself at 968-6462.
