Subject: Re: The Line in the Sand for County Bill 260

Chris, I will stand beside you to defend any line you draw in the sand re:
County Bill 260. I took two off-island visitors to Charlies for lunch and sat
outside. Several people were smoking and the smoke drifted right to us as if
drawn by a magent.
I oppose smoking in all parts of all workplace, to protect workers and
patrons. SMOKE KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES; we should accept none.
But I am also practical about half a loaf being better than none. You are
politically astute. I would prefer that we all be in agreement instead of
scattered.
